Businesses urged to apply for bottom-line boost

GREATER Dandenong businesses can now apply for a $10,000 boost.
The City of Greater Dandenong’s latest round of business grants is now open and aims to support business growth, create new jobs, attract neighbouring businesses to the area and strengthen retail precincts.
Grants are available in three categories – start-up to support new and innovative businesses, growth to help existing small businesses expand, and relocation to attract businesses into the municipality.
Businesses could be eligible for a grant of up to $8000 plus a marketing and business planning package valued at $2000.
Young Uncles Coffee and Sandwich Bar in Thomas Street, Dandenong, received the inaugural grant earlier this year.
Applications for this round close at 4pm on Friday 31 October.
