GUITARS, leather and face paint dominated classrooms at Dandenong South Primary School for a good cause.
Students and teachers took part in Dress Like a Rock Star Day to fund-raise for The Song Room, which delivers music education across Australia.
Leading teacher Moniba Ehsan said the day was about much more than fund-raising.
“It was another opportunity for the students to celebrate the many ways in which they make a difference to the lives of others in their community,” she said.
“Encouraging positive relationships between students and members of the community is a crucial part of schooling.”
