A SPRINGVALE Asian welfare group has received a $2000 grant from the State Government to conduct a volunteer and leadership program for Vietnamese women.
The Springvale Indo-Chinese Mutual Assistance Association (SICMAA) this week received the grant that will help it recruit and train more volunteers to facilitate to leadership course.
Lyndhurst MP Tim Holding made the announcement and said it would enable SICMAA to continue to contribute to the wellbeing of the community. “This grant will help sustain and grow the activities of the Springvale Indo-Chinese Mutual Assistance Association, enabling them to continue their contribution to the life and strength of our community,” he said.
