A MAN was arrested after a police pursuit last week.
The chase happened after a Dandenong police patrol car spotted a car travelling at 150km/h in an 80km/h zone near the intersection of Princes Highway and Elenora Road at 1.30am on Friday 14 March.
As police attempted to intercept the car it continued on and turned right into King George Parade, where it sped over several speed humps causing damage sufficient to bring the car to complete halt.
A man then attempted to flee police, who apprehended him after a short tussle.
The man’s two passengers, a 17-year-old man and a 26-year-old man, also from Dandenong, were unharmed.
Police said a 21-year-old Dandenong man would be charged on summons at a later date, and his car had been confiscated for 48 hours.
