Hospitalised after attack

A 63-YEAR-OLD man has been critically injured in an alleged assault in Springvale on Thursday evening.
Cardinia Crime Investigation Unit detectives have been told the victim was injured in Heritage Drive about 5.35pm.
He remains in The Alfred hospital with critical injuries, according to a police statement.
A 35-year-old Springvale man, who was arrested after handing himself into police that night, has been released pending further inquiries.
