MORE than 30,000 people made their way to Sandown International Raceway over the Easter weekend for the annual Repco Easternats.
It was three days of action-packed mayhem with street drags, burnouts, go to whoa, dyno challenge, show ‘n’ shine and drifting.
Event organiser, Jon Davison, said the Easternats now enjoy the title of Australia’s most successful street machine event.
“No other street machine event provides such a perfect opportunity to put pedal to the metal,” he said.
The event was reverted back to three days this year due to popular demand, and proved to be a success as car enthusiasts from all corners of the country flocked to the raceway Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
