THE City of Greater Dandenong has refused a planning permit that would see a new double storey Medical Centre and pharmacy built in Noble Park.
The applicant Waterface Living Architecture proposed to demolish the existing single storey medical centre in Chandler Road.
Council received four objections, including a petition with 45 signatures.
Objections include potential for overlooking, loss of view, overshadowing, increase in traffic and parking problems and property devaluation.
Council officers assessed the application and found it did not meet the requirements of the Greater Dandenong Planning Scheme.
