Police have charged a man after a police car was allegedly rammed in Springvale on Saturday 27 October.
Police attempted to intercept an allegedly stolen vehicle on Birmingham Street about 6pm.
The vehicle reversed into one police vehicle before accelerating forward into a second police vehicle.
The driver fled on foot but was arrested a short time later.
The 23-year-old Noble Park man has been charged with two counts of theft of motor vehicle, two counts of aggravated reckless exposure of police officer to risk by driving, two counts of resist arrest and traffic related offences.
He appeared at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Sunday 28 October.
