Train traveller attacked

A WOMAN was assaulted and robbed after she got off a train at Yarraman railway station on the weekend.
The 24-year-old victim got off the Pakenham line train about 10.30pm on Sunday and started walking home east along Railway Parade, Dandenong.
Police said when shewas near the Eastlink overpass, she was approached from behind by a manwho grabbed and assaulted her.
During the assault, the attacker stole her mobile phone from her hand.
Police said they believed more than one man was involved and that they ran off towards Yarraman station.
They said one attacker was wearing distinctive clothing, with a dark-coloured jacket and hat or beanie.
