See who’s in the House

GREATER Dandenong residents are invited to attend a Victorian Parliament House open day later this month.
The open day is a opportunity for Victorians and visitors to see inside the historic building and learn more about the Parliament.
South Eastern Metropolitan Region MP Inga Peulich said there would be a range of entertainment for visitors, including the Victoria Police band, and a barbecue in the Parliamentary Gardens.
“The open day usually attracts more than 4,000 people, and the Victorian Electoral Commission, Public Record Office Victoria and the Victorian Auditor-General’s Office will all participate by holding exhibits and information stands around the building,” Ms Peulich said.
“The open day also gives the public a chance to see inside the historic Parliament House building and experience what really goes on inside it.”
The open day will be held on Sunday 20 March between 10.30am and 3.30pm.
Brochures are available from the office of Inga Peulich, 376 Nepean Highway, Chelsea, or by visiting www.parliament.vic.gov.au.
