Dinner to help

GATEWAY Industries is helping people with disabilities enter the workforce.
The organisation is holding its annual dinner in March, to raise funds for more equipment.
Employees are drawn from Greater Dandenong, Casey and Cardinia to fill positions in gardening, cleaning, assembly work and maintenance.
Assembly work takes place within Gateway Industries and other positions rely on outside contracts with councils and other organisations.
Gateway was started in 1983 by the Rotary Club of Dandenong and continues to be supported by the club.
Its second annual dinner will be held at Clover Cottage, Berwick, on 16 March at a cost of $60 a head.
Gateway welcomes community support and people interested in attending the dinner should call 9793 9988.
