A FIVE-CAR crash in Dandenong on Tuesday involved one of Victoria’s top policemen.
Assistant Commissioner Luke Cornelius was driving on Foster Street, near McCrae Street, when his Ford Territory was rear-ended by a Nissan Patrol at 8.20am.
The 57-year-old driver of the Nissan was expected to receive a penalty notice for careless driving.
Three other cars were involved in the collision but no-one was injured.
Police will fully investigate the crash because it involved a police officer.
Mr Cornelius was appointed Assistant Commissioner for the southern metropolitan region in April last year.
