Panel shop probe

By Shaun Inguanzo
FIRE investigators have been called in to analyse a Dandneong panel beating business after it appeared someone had deliberately lit a fire at the rear of the premises.
Country Fire Authority crews from Dandenong and Noble Park arrived at the Mills Road business about 9.15pm on Sunday, 10 June.
The crews arrived to find thick smoke coming from the rear of the building and later discovered pallets and rubbish pushed against a rear roller door and set alight.
The fire officers quickly extinguished the fire but the smoke had billowed into the panel beating shop floor causing it to become smoke logged.
Fire officers used a quick-cut saw to enter the premises and use positive pressure fans to clear the smoke.
