THE Dandenong Rangers made it five wins from the past six games with a strong 18-point win against Eltham in Big V Championship women’s action at the Dandenong Basketball Stadium on Saturday night.
Eltham got off to a horror start, scoring only five points in the opening period.
Dandenong star Melissa Colcott scored her second consecutive 20-plus points haul, adding 24, a game-high. She was the only Dandenong player to reach double figures in the 68-50 win. Both teams struggled from the outside arc, combining to make only three of 24 three-point shots.
Dandenong hosts Bulleen on Sunday at 2pm.
