A HALLAM man has been charged with the murder of his wife.
Arson and explosives squad detectives arrested and charged Kamleshuar Naidu, 33, last Friday.
The charges follow the death of Jayanti Naidu in June 2006.
Ms Naidu, 25, suffered severe burns following an incident in the garage of her Doveton house on 14 June. She died in The Alfred hospital two days later.
Police said the family migrated to Australia from Fiji in November 2005.
Mr Naidu has been remanded in custody to appear before the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 18 December.
