STUDENTS with disabilities discovered the art of dancing last week, as Emerson School in Dandenong North hosted a Drug Education and Student Well-being Expo.
Emerson teacher Elizabeth Ralph took the dance classes as students from Emerson, Marnabek, Dandenong Valley and other schools learned how to stay fit while having fun.
The expo was supported through a grant from the Federal Department of Education, Science and Training and was organised to showcase the school’s programs that develop students’ self-esteem, skills and knowledge about healthy lifestyles and making safe choices.
Parents, students and teachers all took part in the expo.
