BOMBARDIER Transportation will supply the South Australian government with four light rail vehicles as part of a $26 million contract.
Bombardier’s Australian plant is based in Dandenong, where it is working on V-Locity trains for the V/Line service.
The company’s German plant will build and deliver the trams for the SA government on top of the nine the firm has already built for Adelaide.
The product is known as the Flexity Tram and delivery will begin in the final quarter of 2010.
