Bag dispensers, free plastic bags and a rubbish bin to dispose of dog droppings will be trialed at the park for six months.
Keysborough Ward councillor Roz Blades said the trial, due to end in March, was introduced after the council received a number of complaints about dog owners not cleaning up after their pets.
She said the six-month trial would give council a better indication of whether it should install bag dispensers in all of its parks.
