DAVID Rothstadt, principal at Noble Park Primary School, wants people to go beyond buildings to assess the real quality of a school.
Mr Rothstadt said when people look at a school the first thing they see is the buildings.
“But, they are not what defines a school,” Mr Rothstadt said.
“It is the people, and the skills, knowledge and attitudes that they bring to the school.”
“At Noble Park Primary School our teachers and support staff are constantly building their skills to improve the students’ learning.
“Our parent involvement and their commitment to improving all aspects of the school are continually growing, as we offer a range of programs to support families.
“Parents also have high expectations which are exemplified by our students who demonstrate our core values of respect, integrity, responsibility and optimism.
“You only need to visit our classrooms and playgrounds to sense the calm and hard working nature of the children.”
Mr Rothstadt said he was very proud of the school’s achievements.
“Our school has many assets,”he said.
Mr Rothstadt also referred to the comprehensive provision for new learners of English and the constant upgrade of computer and technology equipment.
“Staff have trained in developing their technological capacity and they are committed to taking learners into the future.”
Mr Rothstadt looks forward to further developing the school environment that students look forward to every day.
Visits from families are welcome at Noble Park Primary School, 65 Buckley Street, Noble Park. Contact David Rothstadt on 9546 8811.
