DUCTMAKERS was formed in September 1996 from three companies.
AG Coombs, D&E Air Conditioning and AE Smith are three of the largest players in the design, construction and installation of air-conditioning systems in Australia and pooled their resources to operate a supply shop in the manufacturing process of duct work.
Operating for more than 10 years as a specialised manufacturer of sheet-metal duct work for the air-conditioning industry, Ductmakers is one of the largest sheet-metal duct fabrication shops in Australia – with a fully automated sheet-metal production line.
The business constantly adopts new ideas from other companies and industries for implementation on the factory floor with their recent acquisition of roller conveyors being one example.
