A CALL to a domestic dispute led Dandenong police to over $400,000 worth of amphetamines.
Police were called to a Dandenong address following a domestic dispute in which it was alleged a Frankston male produced a firearm. Members of the Dandenong Crime Investigation Unit (CIU), led by Acting Detective Sergeant Russell Church, issued a firearms warrant for the Pratt Avenue, Frankston address.
Det Church said over four kilograms of what was believed to be amphetamines were located upon entry to the house. The 27-year-old Frankston man was charged with trafficking a large commercial quantity of amphetamines and was remanded in custody to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 11 June 2009.
