Museum workshops offer

HERITAGE Hill Museum and Historic Gardens will again host its ArteFACTS professional workshop series.
Presented by Museums Australia (Vic), the workshops are designed to provide custodians of private and community photographic collections with professional training and advice.
Museum Victoria’s Community Collections training manager Euan McGillivray will deliver both workshops -Preservation of Photographs and Negatives and Digitisation of Collections.
These will run for a full day each at Heritage Hill in Dandenong and are restricted to a maximum of 20 participants each.
The workshops offer a unique opportunity for those with an interest in preserving our heritage to learn from one of the museum industry’s finest experts in the field.
Cost is $45 per person per workshop, which includes notes, morning and afternoon tea, and lunch. Bookings essential; phone 9793 4511.
