BUSINESS people looking for a helping hand from someone with experience running a business can now tap into a new mentoring program.
The City of Greater Dandenong’s upcoming ‘Experts in Residence’ initiative is an opportunity for local businesses to receive free business mentoring.
Under the program, experienced business people who are volunteer mentors will help businesses of all kinds through the Small Business Mentoring Service (SBMS).
They will be available once a month to meet with businesses based within the City of Greater Dandenong, on a one-to-one basis.
The service is provided at no cost to local businesses through the council’s Economic Development Unit.
An application process with selection criteria will apply, and up to three free sessions will be available for interested people.
