POLICE are hunting for the person who attacked a man found unconscious in a pool of blood at his Noble Park home last week.
The 56-year-old man was found by his sister in his garage about 6am on Saturday morning with multiple stab wounds. Police say they don’t know how long the man was in the garage before he was found, and don’t believe the attacker was known to the victim.
The man was taken to The Alfred hospital with life-threatening injuries and is now in the intensive care unit in a stable condition.
Anyone with information about the attack is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
