A 28-YEAR-OLD Doveton man has been found guilty of raping a 17-year-old girl in Dandenong last year.
Jason Werry of Rowan Court, Doveton, was found guilty of rape at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 11 August and will be sentenced next week.
Werry was charged by police after a photofit image of him was printed in local papers. He pleaded guilty to offering a lift home to the girl and then taking her to Grieves Reserve before raping her.
