AN exhibition inspired from the artistic form of the mandala is the latest on display at Heritage Hill Museum and Historic Gardens.
Mandala Magic will showcase more than 40 works from students of artist Karen Scott, who has been teaching and painting mandalas for many years.
Ms Scott said each artist had painted their own mandala, which encloses patterns and symbols within a circle.
She said the mandala had been used as an art form in many cultures for thousands of years and was the great artistic symbol of human experience.
“This unique exhibition represents the different pathways of self discovery taken by each artist in the form of a mandala,” she said.
“Mandala art is used for personal expression, discovery, healing, integration and more.”
Mandala Magic will run from Friday, 4 September, until Sunday, 4 October, at Heritage Hill Museum and Historic Gardens.
The exhibition will be open Wednesday to Friday from 10am to 4pm and every second Sunday from noon to 4pm.
