Old school firetruck in Dandy

A VINTAGE firetruck with Santa and an elf aboard, will tour Central Dandenong in the days leading up to Christmas.
Both children and adults will have the opportunity to jump on board for a ride and to meet Santa.
The Dandenong Retail Traders’ Association has organised the entertainment between 11am and 2pm on Friday 18, Saturday 19, Monday 21 and Tuesday 22 of December.
Dandenong Retail Traders’ Association Chairman Roy Aspinall said this annual entertainment had proven very popular with shoppers as they go about their Christmas shopping.
“We appreciate the support of the City of Greater Dandenong and it adds so much to the general feeling of goodwill in what is the state’s largest shopping precinct outside of Melbourne Central,” he said.
