SPRINGVALE tradespeople will be invited to a special Westpac information night next month for a chance to meet the bank manager and learn about the bank’s initiatives.
Springvale WestPac Manager Craig Brown said invites would be handed out for the event, which begins at 6pm on 12 January.
Having recently returned to the area, Craig Brown started in the position of bank manager at Westpac Springvale in August and said he hoped to develop a great business relationship with local customers and was willing to visit them in their homes to make banking easier.
“Already I am familiarising myself with the economic situation in Springvale,” he said. “Every area has different needs and my responsibility will be to ensure the financial services we provide are tailored to suit the needs of businesses and families in Springvale.”
Mr Brown said he was committed to increasing Westpac’s support of the local communities.
The Springvale branch employs 14 employees and has been here for 52 years. In Australia, the Westpac network includes 800 branches across metropolitan and regional Australia.
