MORE than a dozen businessmen and women from the City of Greater Dandenong feasted on a lavish lunch at Krybs Curry House for the second exclusive members only Chamber Lunch Club.
The Indian banquet featured an array of dishes, including many Fijian foods.
Leanne McCready from the City of Greater Dandenong and chamber committee said the lunches were a way to network and experience foods they haven’t tried before.
“People really enjoy it. It’s a great way to meet each other over an informal but nice lunch,” she said.
The next lunch will be held at the Drum Theatre for the shortest lunch.
“The shortest lunch is to celebrate the shortest day of the year, on 21 June,” Ms McCready said.
“Bookings are through the Drum Theatre. It’s $80 and includes canapés, a three course meal, beverages and surprises.”
