ACCESSIBILITY is the most important thing people should require from their local MP, says the new Liberal candidate for Lyndhurst.
Tony Holland announced last week that he would run as a Liberal candidate in the upcoming State Election.
Mr Holland said he has strong ties with the Lyndhurst electorate and was honoured to be the candidate for the area. The Lyndhurst electorate covers the suburbs of Bangholme, Dandenong South, Hampton Park, Keysborough, Lynbrook, Lyndhurst, Noble Park and Springvale.
Mr Holland has been an estate agent for 15 years and is currently the senior vice-president of the Bonnie Babes Foundation, a not-for-profit charity which was established to improve the heath and wellbeing of families.
A father of two, his children attend Lynbrook Primary School, a factor that he believes makes him very interested in issues affecting local families.
“The Lyndhurst community deserve a local Member of Parliament that will fight for the issues that affect them,” he said.
He says accessibility is the most important thing you require from your local member.
“I am committed to ensuring that the residents of the Lyndhurst Electorate have a real voice in Parliament and most importantly someone who residents can get to when they want to raise an issue,” Mr Holland said.
