LYNDHURST MP Tim Holding was named as a front-runner to become the next Labor leader this week, after John Brumby’s resignation from the leadership.
But recent media reports claim that Mr Holding is not interested in taking up the top job for the new Opposition.
Media chatter has it that outgoing Health Minister Daniel Andrews is now expected to become the new leader, with Mr Holding also being named a possible candidate for the deputy’s position.
A verdict will be reached on Friday, with MPs set to gather to elect the new leader.
Time for Tim?
