AFL Recreational Football is an exciting new game that allows people of all ages, ability levels and genders to participate and play together in local parks.
It is non-contact, fun and free to play.
About 30 people attended a clinic at Hemmings Park in Dandenong on Monday.
Representatives from North Dandenong Junior Football Club, Parkmore Pirates and the Noble Park Junior Football Club were also in attendance.
Students at the Noble Park English Language School enjoyed Recreational Football during the Spring SportsFest in October and at Recreational Football Clinics held at Hemmings Park last year.
More than 160 students also enjoyed learning Recreational Football at the Keysborough College Transition Day in December.
The City of Greater Dandenong is keen to continue to provide clinics in 2011 and as such, free clinics will be run in local parks from January, to March. Call 9239 5386 to find your closest Recreational Football clinic.
