GAMEON is back for another year.
The sports and recreation festival will have a strong focus on indoor and outdoor sports.
Supported by the City of Greater Dandenong and VicHealth, GameOn will be held on Sunday 20 March at Greaves Reserve, Dandenong.
“This event is a great way to connect residents with local sporting opportunities and to try new things,” Greater Dandenong mayor Roz Blades said.
“We’re privileged to be home to a great variety of clubs and community groups in this city and events like GameOn are designed to make them more accessible for everyone.”
Representatives from netball, volleyball, skating, basketball, badminton and junior AFL will run clinics, demonstrations and information sessions during the day.
A range of traditional and lesser-known sporting activities will be on offer as well as entertainment, free showbags and giveaways.
Grenda Bus Company will provide a free shuttle service from Dandenong railway station to the reserve from 11am to 5pm.
