Rockin’ the park

GET ready to rock!
Rock ‘n’ roll extravaganza, Music in the Park, will be held at Keysborough’s Wachter Reserve on Sunday 1 May.
With the swinging sounds of the Fender Benders and The Rockin’ Daddys, this event is not to be missed for a rockabilly enthusiast.
The day will also include swing dance demonstrations from the Top Cat Dancers, a Hot Rod Show n’ Shine competition, Kustom Kulture market stalls and free face painting.
Greater Dandenong mayor Roz Blades said Music in the Park was a great event for the whole family.
“Wachter Reserve features fascinating wetlands, a great children’s playground and is the perfect backdrop for a free afternoon of rockabilly music and dancing,” she said.
Music in the Park is a drug and alcohol-free event and will be held at Wachter Reserve on 1 May from 1pm to 4pm.
