Two burglaries in two days

POLICE are appealing for witnesses to burglaries on two homes in two days.
They believe thieves entered the back yard of a home in Dunblane Road, Noble Park, between 1.45pm and 5pm on 21 August and used a shovel to open a rear kitchen window.
They entered the home and stole electrical items including a laptop and iPad, jewellery and a piggy bank.
Between 9.30am and 5.15pm the following day, thieves removed an external flywire screen and smashed a lounge room window to enter a home in Park View Close, Dandenong.
They searched through bedrooms and cupboards, took two mobile phones from a desk and fled the premises, which backs onto Dandenong Creek Trail.
