HARRISFIELD Kinder kids strutted their stuff for an important cause this month – their trip to the zoo.
Three and four-year-olds modelled the latest summer fashions at the Noble Park centre’s annual fund-raising event.
“It helps build their confidence by doing something in front of their family and friends,” the kinder’s Amanda McCracken said.
“It’s also a good opportunity for the parents to come along and mingle afterwards and get to know each other and build a community.”
Proceeds from tickets to the show go towards a trip to the Melbourne Zoo for the four-year-olds.
“We’re a one-room kinder,” Ms McCracken said.
“We have 50 four-year-olds doing the 15-hour program, plus we’ve managed to keep the three-year-old classes going, so we’re very proud of that.”
