ST MARY’S Primary School in Dandenong is doing its bit for the environment – with a twist.
With help from artist Julie Spencer, grade five and six students created a mosaic mural tribute to St Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals and the environment.
Also a recent Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden program grant will have pupils indulging their green thumbs this year, and serving up healthy dishes.
