GREATER Dandenong residents can have their say on road safety this month.
The council is seeking community input on an updated road safety strategy it’s developing.
It’s aimed at reducing fatalities and injuries on local roads and considers the role each person can play in achieving this.
Mayor Jim Memeti said road fatalities and serious injuries had reduced significantly in Greater Dandenong over the past five years, but there were always ways to improve.
The council is asking residents to complete a short survey that asks them to identify their key road safety priorities and looks at education, behaviour and safety initiatives.
It’s available at www.greaterdandenong.com or from the council’s customer services centres and libraries until Wednesday 30 April.
