GREATER Dandenong girls took to courts and fields at Greaves Reserve this month.
About 180 Year 9 students from 11 schools across the municipality attended the council’s sports expo on 2 September, designed to promote women’s participation in sport.
The day included workshops and visits from professional sportswomen and showed what sport was on offer in the city and its benefits.
