Car blaze deemed suspicious

UPDATE: POLICE have identified the car and said it had broken down at the location.

FIRE has destroyed a car in Keysborough overnight, in suspicious circumstances.
Springvale Fire Brigade attended Kingsclere Avenue, behind Parkmore Shopping Centre, about 2.45am this morning (Monday).
Senior Station Officer Mark Stephens said a pumper from Noble Park Fire Brigade assisted and the blaze was under control within 10 minutes.
The crews deemed the fire suspicious and requested police attendance.
Springvale police’s Sergeant Max Walker said his officers called in Greater Dandenong CIU to tow the car for examination.
The CIU is waiting for crime scene services to complete its investigation and identify the car.
