YOUNG people can apply for cash to celebrate and showcase their peers.
Dandenong MP Gabrielle Williams encouraged community organisations and schools to apply for grants of up to $2000 to help run National Youth Week events from 8 to 17 April.
Ms Williams said the annual, week-long celebration allowed people aged 12 to 25 years to express their creativity and have their say about issues important to them.
“This is a great opportunity for young people to extend their skills and use their creative talents on projects like sports events, art exhibitions, music festivals and workshops to celebrate young people in our community,” she said.
Applications are open until Friday 13 November.
