Intruder flees in stolen truck

By CAM LUCADOU-WELLS

A MAN has broken into an industrial site office and fled in a truck from police in Oppenheim Drive, Dandenong South.
Offsite security guards alerted police after spotting the male on the office’s CCTV, about 3.45am on Sunday 3 April.
During his escape, the male drove a small, white moving-van towards attending police officers and fled north on Hammond Road.
The truck displayed false number-plates, Detective Sergeant Jason Owen of Greater Dandenong CIU said.
Nothing was believed to have been stolen from the office, police say.
