Safer streets with upgrades

Two Noble Park North streets would share $755,000 in safety upgrades under a Coalition Government.
Bruce Liberal candidate Helen Kroger announced the pledge for Oakwood Avenue and Halton Road on Thursday 23 June.
“I have long been committed to fighting for and delivering funding to improve safety on local roads,” she said.
“These particular locations will be recognised by locals as sites where accidents have occurred in the past or through their own near misses.”
Oakwood Avenue will receive splitter islands and blisters between Gladstone and Elonera roads, at a cost of $453,000.
Halton Road will receive the same between Gladstone and Jacksons roads at a $302,000 cost.
