Man faces one count of murder

A body found in Upper Ferntree Gully has been identified as that of a 39-year-old Noble Park man.
Homicide Squad detectives charged a 56-year-old Vermont man with one count of murder in relation to the incident, after attending an address in Vermont about 9pm on Monday 19 September.
He was remanded in custody to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 20 September.
