A bank bandit is on the run after trying to rob a Dandenong bank with a note.
It’s alleged he entered the Commonwealth Bank on McCrae and Walker streets earlier today (Thursday 13 July).
He approached an employee and produced a note that stated he had a weapon and wanted cash.
The staff member activated the bank’s security system and the man fled.
The investigation is ongoing.
