The ladies from Noble Park CWA scooped the pool at a recent regional craft and home exhibition.
But Yvonne Smith said more talent was always welcome.
She said Noble Park was one of nine Country Women’s Association branches in the West Gippsland group which all come together for an exhibition each year.
“Our branch scooped the pool with all the aggregate wins,” she said.
Her members won individual prizes in cooking, flowers and craft.
Ms Smith said Carmel Ryan won the individual first prize for folk art.
The Noble Park branch has 30 members.
“A lot of them really just come for the company,” Ms Smith said.
“Of course we’re always looking for members and they’re very hard to come by, too.”
The group meets on the second and fourth Mondays of the month at 10am at the Paddy O’Donoghue Centre in Noble Park.
Ms Smith said the second Monday was a craft day and ran until 1.30pm.
“We just bring a sandwich and there’s tea and coffee,” she said.
Readers who are interested in joining can show up on the day or call Ms Smith on 9547 7261 for more information.
