Missing bushwalker’s body found in gorge

A Noble Park North man has been found dead in Werribee Gorge State Park.
Searchers found the 35-year-old bushwalker’s body at the base of the gorge about 7pm on Monday 11 December.
Police said he had been planning to complete a 10 kilometre walk around the Werribee Gorge Circuit Track on Sunday 10 December.
Family members raised the alarm when he failed to return home.
Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
Victoria Police thanked the volunteers and support agencies for their help during the search.
