A Dandenong North man disturbed a would-be burglar inside his garage in the middle of the night.
The McFees Road resident heard loud bangs about 12.30am on Wednesday 28 March and investigated.
He found his car door open, the lights on in the garage and a man wearing a high-visibility jacket and a balaclava lying down behind the car.
The victim confronted the intruder, who fled empty-handed.
