A 31-year-old Dandenong man suffered cuts and abrasions when five men brandishing weapons broke into his apartment.
Greater Dandenong CIU Sergeant Craig West said the incident occurred in Clow Street about 9.10pm on Tuesday 27 March.
He said that four to five armed Caucasian men urged the victim to come outside before forcing their way into the unit and assaulting him.
Sgt West said they caused damage to the unit and stole the victim’s wallet.
