Hallam drub lab uncovered

A clandestine drug laboratory and three stolen cars were found by police at a Hallam factory last Wednesday night.

Casey CIU detectives made their discoveries at the Colrado Court factory about 9pm, during their hunt for a man who failed to appear in court on drug charges this week.

They say they found a stolen car, believed to have been used in an armed robbery in Beaconsfield on Monday, in the driveway. The car contained a sawn-off shotgun and a knife.

Police arrested a 40-year-old Hallam man outside the factory but say the suspected armed robbers are still at large.
